I have a Natural Talent for Playing Music

December 13, 2009 on 4:28 am | By | In Arts

I have always wanted to learn how to play an instrument. There was never any money for that sort of thing, when I was a kid. My mom worked two jobs and I had to take care of my sister. Now, I am on my own and I have nothing but time after work. I went on the internet and found guitar lessons online free web site. I was happy to see it. I decided to sign up and now I am learning to play. I am not great yet. I am sure by next year I will be able to play things like they sound on the radio. The good news is I have talent.

Finding a wedding photographer

December 12, 2009 on 4:30 am | By | In Arts

When the economy tanked several months ago, we decided to postpone our wedding one year.  Now we’re starting to make plans and are on the look out for a Wedding Photographer and other vendors.  It may actually work out to our benefit since there are so many talented people available and they are offering all sorts of specials and stimulus packages.  The photographers we are looking at are great and they of course are almost booked up.  I’m confident we’ll get the one we want though and at a reasonable price.

Movie madness

December 10, 2009 on 6:14 am | By | In Arts

My brother is fascinated with the film industry and is planning to work in that arena someday. His movie madness started with a film produced by Randy Charach. He loved it and never laughed so hard in his life.  It was a changing moment for him when he realized that he wanted to be the one who made and produced films for others to enjoy. He is determined to break into the business and is learning all he can about the behind the scenes work that goes into a production company. He is so serious about it that I don’t doubt that he will become a movie producer eventually.

The Tudors is a show on Showtime that features events that happened over hundreds of years ago. King Henry is the focal point of the show, and it shows the things that he done while he was the King of England. Some say he was the most evil King that England had. He would do things only the way that he wanted them done and if someone did not agree with it then it could mean death for him. He had close to ten wives in his life and was constantly cheating on whoever was his wife or bride-to-be at the time.

Find Custom Guitars

November 19, 2009 on 7:28 am | By | In Arts

Last year my friend Nate and I decided to start a band. Both Nate and I play guitar and sing, so we needed to find a bass player and drummer. We posted an ad on our college campus, and within a few days we had a bass player and drummer. When we first started out we were pretty bad, but as we practiced day after day, we got better and better. Both Nate and I went out and bought 2 of wolfgangs custom guitars. With our new guitars and band that continued to improve, we started to get some recognition around town. Last month we just signed our first record deal, and we’re so excited for the future.

Remo Djembe, An Interesting Drum

November 18, 2009 on 1:13 am | By | In Arts

They say that the djembe drum is also known as the healing drum, and maybe it is because of the magnificent sound it produces which gives anybody a healing energy. My friend played the remo djembe during a show we had at school. Everyone was impressed with his ability to play this unique drum. I know that not a lot of people know how to play it. I am very interested with the drum, and I hope to learn playing it in the near future. I can play the regular drums with ease, and knowing how to play the djembe will be a big achievement for me.
