My grandfather is going to be here soon. I still can’t believe that he wanted me to get up so early. He said that he wants me to see what a normal Saturday is for him. I wonder what he has planned. I’ve been driving this old Ford for ages and I’m ready for it to break down so that I will have an excuse to go to the Volvo dealers and get what I really want. There’s nothing wrong with my old Explorer, but I have wanted a Volvo since before I got the Ford. I just didn’t have the money back then to buy it. Now, I have the money and I don’t have the excuse. Maybe I should just say that I’m old enough to buy the car I want and I don’t need an excuse to do it.

My sister and I had a bit of a drive to get to the Citroen dealership. I didn’t mind though. I don’t get to spend all that much time with her, so I enjoyed the drive. I was driving down to the annual veterans day parade and saw so many cool floats driving past my car. There was a High School marching band and the drill team that was about to perform. I decided to pull over and park my Ford Fiesta, so I could get a better view of the ongoing parade. The mayor was throwing out candy to the little kids and the music was outstanding. I felt like a kid again too! I bumped into a few of my buddies and we gabbed about old times and then after the parade was over, we headed to the local pub.

You need so much car information in order to buy a car these days, it’s ridiculous. The problem is, not only do you need to equip yourself with all this information just to make sure you’re not being duped by the sales people when car-buying, but you have to try and find it all beforehand!
