Tape MP3 Converter

There is a certain process that you will have to go through each time you want to turn an analog tape into separate MP3 or WAV files. This will involve connecting an old tape machine to your computer or notebooks line in port, recording the audio and then exporting it to separate files. The cassette adapter you will need to use will be in the form of an RCA to mini jack stereo cable. Once you have setup all connections, make sure that your computer is receiving an audio signal. Then simply hit play on your tape machine and record it with a recording application. Then split the file into segments and export as an MP3 or WAV.
