There are a number of types of crunches that target specific muscles in the abdomen. It is usually very difficult to reduce belly fat in the lower abdomen. The bicycle crunches can help you to burn fat deposited in the lower abdomen. The bicycle crunches should be done with right posture so that no injuries result. Also older people cannot try this as this involves a bit of muscular stress which the older people cannot bear with. Choose a flat floor for doing bicycle crunches and use a spongy mat which can cushion your back a bit so that you do not feel any pain on your back while exercising.
