Family Disputes Get Out Of Hand

Every time the fights would break out, I would run to my room in hopes of finding solace from my books. I would read and read until I fell asleep. At one point, a domestic abuse lawyer Queens was brought into the picture and my mom opted to get a divorce based upon domestic violence. The lawyer was able to acquire a restraining order and give us a sense of peace.
