February 3, 2010 on 9:38 am | By admin | In News | Comments OffI have always wanted to go to Africa and when I heard that I could go on a mission trip with New Tribes Mission, I thought that it was the perfect opportunity. I didn’t know what I would be doing when I got there but I knew that I wanted to help. i ended up working with the local people, teaching them to read and write. They taught me all about their culture and how they live their daily lives. It was interesting to have the opportunity to help a whole tribe of people that were less fortunate than myself. I feel very privileged that I got the chance to do so.
