Is Federal Student Loan Consolidation helpful?
January 15, 2010 on 4:03 am | By admin | In Reference | Comments OffFederal Student Loan Consolidation is the consolidation of the federal or government loans a student has taken for pursuing education. A student could choose between any of four or five different schemes of periods ranging between 10-25 years and fixed interest rates. One of the advantages of Federal Student Loan Consolidation is that there are no credit checks or fee associated with the consolidation. Besides there is no penalty for early payment. Instead it directly deducts the original principal. The interest rate associated with federal loans is very less and the whole process of application for loan is very simple. Hence consolidation of the loans helps to reduce complexity of loan repayments.
